22 May (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be visiting
Deoria on Friday. During this visit, he will unveil 19 development projects
worth Rs. 655.45 crore for the district at a public meeting in Pokharbhinda,
near Bhimpur Gaura. This includes the inauguration of 8 projects worth Rs. 116.54
crore and the foundation stone laying of 11 projects worth Rs. 538.91 crore. The
Chief Minister will arrive at the venue by helicopter at 10:25 a.m. and address
the public gathering. The administration has completed preparations for the
event. Three German hangar pandals have been set up at the venue.
In
view of the intense heat, the administration has made special arrangements for
the Chief Minister. A sub-inspector has been assigned special duty to carry an
umbrella with the Chief Minister during his travels from the helipad to the
vehicle and to the venue. A special umbrella has been provided from the police
lines for this purpose. Arrangements for drinking water, tents, barricades,
parking, and traffic arrangements have also been finalized at the venue.
Deoria-Kasya
road widening at a cost of Rs 292.07 crore: Among the projects for which the
Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone, the most important is the
widening and strengthening of the Deoria-Kasaya road, to be constructed at a
cost of Rs. 292.07 crore. Additionally, Rs. 74.47 crore will be spent on the
widening and strengthening of the Deoria-Haata road. Along with this, the
foundation stone will also be laid for the construction of a new bridge on
Sonhua Ramnagar-Desi Deoria road, Hetimpur link road and the construction of a
parallel bridge on Khanua drain located on Baghauchghat-Pakhan road. Widening
works of Piparpati-Padri Mall-Rautpar-Baikunthpur-Madhavapur road,
Baikunthpur-Nunkhar road and Bhikhampur-Deoria-Karahkol road will also be started.
Inauguration
of road, education and health related projects: The projects which the Chief
Minister will inaugurate include the administrative building of the new police
station Mahuadih, the academic block and hostel building of Kasturba Gandhi Girls
School.
The
Government Industrial Training Institute at Dighwa Pautwa will also be
inaugurated. The Khukhundoo-Nunkhar-Bhatni Road and Bhatni-Balua Afghan Road
widening projects will also be dedicated. The Chief Minister will also
inaugurate a modern veterinary clinic at the Veterinary Hospital, Deoria Sadar,
which will provide livestock farmers with access to modern medical facilities.
Pathardewa
Assembly constituency gets projects worth Rs 475 crore: The Pathardewa Assembly
constituency will receive eight development projects worth a total of Rs. 475.10
crore. This includes the inauguration of three projects worth Rs. 25.86 crore
and the foundation stone laying of five projects worth Rs. 449.24 crore. These
projects include road widening, strengthening of access roads, and
infrastructure work. The Mahuadih police station's administrative building will
also be inaugurated in this area.
82.94
crore worth of schemes for Rampur factory area: Four projects worth Rs 82.94
crore will be inaugurated in the Rampur Factory Assembly constituency. Of
these, two projects worth Rs 66.55 crore will be inaugurated and two projects
worth Rs 16.39 crore will be laid the foundation stone. These projects are
expected to strengthen road connectivity and infrastructure in rural areas.
Rs.
97 crore gift to Deoria assembly constituency:
Seven development projects worth a total of Rs. 97.41 crore will be
announced in the Deoria Assembly constituency. These include the inauguration
of three projects worth Rs. 24.13 crore and the laying of the foundation stone
for four projects worth Rs. 73.28 crore. These projects will include road
widening, strengthening of access roads, and the development of government
buildings.
Tight
security arrangements have been made, forces have been called from several districts.
Security
agencies are on high alert for the Chief Minister's visit. Bomb squads and
other security agencies have launched a sweep of the venue. Additional
Superintendent-level officers have been called in from Siddharthnagar and
Kushinagar. Circle Officer-level officers from several districts have also been
deployed for security. Around 250 police personnel, including 12 inspectors,
have been called in from outside the district, while around 750 police
personnel have also been deployed from the district.
In
a post on X, UP CM remarked, “With the blessings of the revered Devaraha Baba,
a new chapter in development and public welfare will be added today in the
blessed district of Deoria. Through the inauguration and foundation stone
laying of 19 development projects costing more than Rs. 655 crore, public
facilities and basic infrastructure will gain new momentum. At the same time,
the distribution of certificates to beneficiaries of various schemes will also
infuse new energy into the resolve of 'Antyodaya' and 'Self-reliant Uttar
Pradesh'.”
