Kokrajhar (Assam), 22 May (HS): In a shocking incident, two minor Adivasi girls were allegedly raped and murdered in Kokrajhar district. The victims' bodies were recovered from a pond on Friday. According to police sources, the two girls, who were on their way to school, were allegedly attacked by two men.

The accused have been identified as Golam Mostafa, the manager of Nitul Tea Garden and Ejahan Ali.Both individuals have been arrested by the police in connection with the case.The incident has caused widespread outrage in the area, with local communities demanding strict action against the perpetrators.
