Says Will Reveal Proof at the Right Time

Chandigarh, 22 May (H.S.): Former Indian cricketer and Rajya Sabha member Harbhajan Singh launched a sharp political attack on the Aam Aadmi Party, alleging that Punjab’s Rajya Sabha seats were “sold”. Harbhajan said those calling him a “traitor” should first ask their own party leaders “at what price the Rajya Sabha seat was sold”.

Harbhajan Singh Bhajji, said If they don’t answer, then I will reveal who took how much bribe and from whom. I will also expose how certain people were made ministers and used as pawns to loot Punjab.”

Notably, Harbhajan Singh is among the seven Rajya Sabha members who left AAP and joined the BJP last month. Since then, AAP workers have staged protests outside his residence in Jalandhar and even painted the word “traitor” on the walls of his house.

The controversy intensified after AAP leader Devinder Yadav questioned Harbhajan on social media, asking why he did not resign from his Rajya Sabha membership if he was unhappy with the party.

Responding to the allegations, Harbhajan Singh said he had never insulted any political leader, but a planned campaign was being run against him. “The country has given me immense love. I spent 20 years bringing glory to India through cricket. Some people are paid to spread propaganda on social media, but the public knows the truth,” he said.
