Bhubaneswar, 22 May (H.S.): Six people lost their lives in a tragic road accident in the Purushottampur area of Ganjam district in Odisha.Following the incident, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident.

The Chief Minister announced an ex-gratia assistance of ₹4 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for the next of kin of the deceased.

The state government has further assured that all necessary arrangements are being made for the proper medical treatment of the injured victims.
