
Bhubaneswar, 22 May (H.S.): The upcoming Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Eastern Region Council Conference will be held in Odisha, officials confirmed.
At Lok Seva Bhawan today, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi held a courtesy meeting with CII Odisha Chapter Chairman Anil Singh and Vice Chairman Manikanta Nayak. During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the organisation of the forthcoming conference in the state.
The proposed CII Eastern Region Council Conference will witness participation from representatives of Odisha, Bihar, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand. The event is expected to focus on strengthening regional cooperation and promoting integrated development in Eastern India under the Government of India’s “Purvodaya” vision.
As part of the conference, the Chief Minister is scheduled to present his perspective on Odisha’s growth trajectory, future development plans, and the role of coordinated efforts among eastern states in driving economic progress.
