An

initiative to create positive and disciplined environment in educational

institutions, Yogi Government focusing on both quality and values in

education system

Lucknow,

21 May (HS): Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar

Pradesh government is continuously taking important steps to strengthen

quality, discipline, and social harmony in the education system. In this

regard, State Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyaya stated that, as

directed by Governor Anandiben Patel, a dress code will be made mandatory in

all universities and colleges across the state. He added that a uniform dress

code will be implemented in every educational institution to the extent

possible, promoting equality and discipline among students.

Minister

Yogendra Upadhyaya stated that the student body is a homogeneous group, where

there should be no discrimination. He added that social and economic inequality

is often reflected through clothing, leading to feelings of inferiority in some

students and a sense of superiority in others. Implementing a dress code will

effectively control these situations, allowing all students to study in a

similar environment.

He

said that the Yogi government's objective is not only to enhance educational

quality but also to create a positive, disciplined, and cultured environment in

educational institutions. The dress code will not only symbolize discipline but

also serve as a means to strengthen social harmony and the spirit of equal

opportunity. This will help students focus more on education and personality

development.

Minister

Upadhyay said that the state government is continuously taking reformative

steps to provide a modern and disciplined academic environment in higher

education institutions. After the new system is implemented, universities and

colleges will develop a uniform and improved academic culture, which will

provide a strong foundation for the goal of a developed Uttar Pradesh and a

developed India.
