Guwahati, 30 April (HS): A special training programme under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan was organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party at its state headquarters, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhavan, on Thursday, with participation from all eight North-Eastern states.
Around 150 senior karyakartas and resource persons from across the region took part in the session, aimed at strengthening organisational structure and enhancing ideological clarity within the party. BJP spokesperson Kamal Kumar Medhi stated that the programme was designed to prepare trained speakers who will conduct similar workshops at the district level, ensuring wider dissemination of the party’s ideology.
He said the BJP functions on the guiding principle of “Nation First, Party Second, Self Last,” where individual interests hold no place and dedicated cadres work in line with the party’s ‘Panch Nishtha’ commitments towards nation-building.
The programme was conducted under the leadership of State President Dilip Saikia. Senior leaders, including National Organisational General Secretary BL Santosh, Joint Organisational General Secretary Shiv Prakash, and National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, attended the session and provided guidance to the participants.----------
