Lucknow, April 16 (HS): Yogi
Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, has been hosting rallies and
aggressively campaigning for the BJP in West Bengal ahead of the 2026 Assembly
Elections, notably in the regions of Barabani, Rampurhat, and Bolpur, where
fierce triangular battles are taking place.
Yogi Adityanath is a significant
BJP campaigner in the state, supporting party candidates against the AITC. The
campaign in West Bengal for these seats is centered on topics of development
and political transformation, with elections slated for April 2026. The voting
for the 2026 West Bengal Assembly Elections is done in stages, with results due
on May 4, 2026.
In a post on X, he remarked, “In
West Bengal, the land of revolution, the winds of change have now transformed
into a public resolve. Public anger against the TMC's corruption, anarchy, and
appeasement have taken the form of a people's revolution. The trust
of every citizen is with the BJP. Today, I will further strengthen this public
resolve for change by interacting with the conscious people of the Barabani,
Rampurhat, and Bolpur assembly constituencies.”
