a youth in Bhadohi district for allegedly filming an indecent video of a
19-year-old college student and posting it on social media, police said on
Thursday. According to investigators, a student quit attending college after a
video became popular on numerous social media sites. Sujit Kumar Mishra, a
resident of Bhamaura village in the Aurai police station area, was charged
under sections 351 (3) (criminal intimidation), 352 (criminal force) of the
BNS, and section 67 (broadcasting obscene material) of the Information
Technology Act after a 19-year-old student filed a complaint, according to
police officials.
According to a registered FIR, police station officer Sachidanand Pandey
stated that the accused had been harassing the student for marriage for a long
time, and when she refused, he assaulted her and threatened to murder her.
The girl said that Mishra recently
released pornographic recordings of her from several IDs on various social
