Chitrakoot,
09 March (HS): The principal of a government primary school has been suspended
after a video circulated on social media, reportedly showing schoolgirls
massaging her, an official said on Monday. B K Sharma, District Basic Education
Officer (BSA), indicated that the suspension was imposed in response to an
investigation report presented by City Education Officer Praveen Kumar Dixit. Madhu
Rai, the suspended principal, works at a primary school in Naya Bazar. She has
been immediately suspended, and a disciplinary investigation has been launched
against her, according to the official. According to Sharma, the video, which
was posted on social media two days ago, shows Rai laying on the floor with students
caressing her hands and legs.
Taking
note of the video, Dixit was assigned to conduct an investigation, and early
investigations revealed that the charges were prima facie genuine, according to
the BSA. Rai was
relocated to the district headquarters while she was on suspension, he noted.
According
to reports, one student originally informed the headmistress that she lacked
massage skills. The headmistress then allegedly instructed the pupil to climb
on her back and push it. She subsequently lay on her stomach, and the pupil
started pounding her back with her feet. At the time, a school employee
allegedly captured the footage and then published it on social media. The video
has subsequently been shared online. The Basic Shiksha Adhikari took note of
the situation and suspended the headmistress with immediate effect. An
investigation will likely result in further action. The headmistress allegedly
refuted the charges and said that the film was created by artificial
intelligence.
