Lucknow, 09
March (HS): The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has a strong focus
on attracting investment in the state. A MoU was signed between the state
government and the Hinduja Group to provide broadband access to 2 million rural
and semi-urban homes under Project Ganga at a MoU signing ceremony held at the
city's Hotel Renaissance on Monday, in the presence of State Finance and
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna.
Finance
and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said that today's
special program is of interest to everyone. Today, Uttar Pradesh is playing a
leading role in every field, especially in the field of development. We all
know well where the country's progress has fallen short. We have no shortage of
knowledge, IQ, and hard work. We lagged behind in the field of technology. That
is why we are called a developing country. In the last 10-11 years, the
public's perception of the country has changed, and in the last nine years, the
public's perception of Uttar Pradesh has changed. The Hinduja Group is one of
the country's leading groups. This group has set up a vehicle manufacturing
factory in Uttar Pradesh. This factory was completed in just 14 months. This is
a huge achievement for Uttar Pradesh. It demonstrates their efficiency and dedication.
The
minister said that the MoU signed today was between Manoj Kumar Singh, CEO of
the State Transformation Commission, and Entertainment Limited, a subsidiary of
the Hinduja Group. This represents an important step in the digital sector.
Today, Uttar Pradesh's most pressing need is employment. I believe providing
employment through technology will be most meaningful.
