Nagpur, 09 Mar

(HS): Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Chief Raj Thackeray with his wife Sharmila reached

Raigad Fort on Monday morning on the 20th Foundation Day of his

party MNS.

After paying

tributes to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj party’s membership mission was launched.

Speaking on the occasion Thackeray said, he prayed for the good governance of

the past to return in the present and future era. He posted on social media

that MNS has succeeded building a place in Marathi people’s heart during the

last 20 years. The party has been consistently working for the welfare of

development of Maharashtra, Marathi language and welfare of Marathi people. In

case of any atrocities against any Marathi person, people ask for MNS for help.

The party has earned credibility for its work.

During the 20

years we have experienced many changes. The next generation is ready with

strong ambitions. MNS is ready to continue with its mission to help Marathi

people in every corner of Maharashtra.

With the

separation from Shiv Sena (undivided) Raj Thackeray formed his own party, MNS. After

initial overwhelming response, the party’s political base weakened. He again

joined hands with Uddhav Thackeray’s Sena, but failed gain much, which was

evident from the recent municipal elections.

Raj Thackeray

announced the website for enrolling membership will be opened on Tuesday. He

appealed to the present workers to convince the young generation to join the party

to fulfil their ambition. Let the past come into the present and future, he

added.
