Amravati, 09 Mar (HS): Amravati City Police seized

Mephedrone (MD) worth Rs 3 crore on Sunday evening and arrested two in this

connection.

Amravati’s Nagpuri Gate Police conducted the

operation on the Lalkhai-Sukil Road and seized the banned narcotic drug worth

Rs 3 crore. The accused Abdul Fahim Abdul (26) and Sheikh Ayan Sheikh Ramzan

(20) were found in possession of MD. The raid was carried out based on the

reliable information. The experts from Food and Drug Administration were summed

to test the seized drug. The 2.080 kg MD seized has market value of Rs 3,01,20,000.

Furjre investigation has been launched.
