Bhubaneswar, 09 March (H.S.): The valuation of Plus II answer sheets is set to commence from April 2, 2026, in two phases, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) announced. The first phase will run from April 2 to 13, while the second phase will take place from April 15 to 26. Around 16,000 teachers will be engaged in the evaluation process.

Officials stated that some subjects in the Science, Commerce, and Arts streams will undergo e-evaluation, while subjects from the Arts and Vocational streams will be evaluated manually. Special staff will be appointed to ensure the smooth functioning of e-evaluation centres and to prevent technical glitches.

The valuation is expected to be completed by the end of April, with results scheduled for release in the third week of May, according to Prashant Kumar Parida, Controller of Examinations, CHSE.

The process will be conducted across 151 centres, comprising 76 offline and 75 online centres. In the first phase, 3,500 evaluators will handle online answer sheets, while 4,500 evaluators will assess offline papers. The second phase will involve 8,000 evaluators. Approximately 25 lakh answer sheets will be evaluated, including 15 lakh offline and 10 lakh online, covering all four streams simultaneously under strict security measures.

Teachers assigned for valuation are required to report to their respective centres on time and remain until daily work is completed. Entry and exit times will be recorded, and mobile phones and electronic devices are strictly prohibited. Valuation will be conducted daily from 10 am to 6 pm to ensure timely completion of the process.

CHSE officials emphasized that rigorous monitoring and security protocols will be maintained at all centres to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality throughout the valuation process.
