March (HS): An IndiGo flight encountered a mechanical glitch at Lucknow's
Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, leaving passengers, including
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak,
detained aboard the plane for an hour.
According
to airport officials, IndiGo aircraft 6E505 was set to depart Amausi Airport
for Kolkata this morning. However, a technical fault caused the aircraft to be
delayed by around an hour. All passengers were stranded, including the state's
two Deputy Chief Ministers. Both Chief Ministers were headed to Kolkata for a
party gathering. However, after being repaired, the plane left at 8:59 a.m.
