March (HS): Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, inaugurated the
Rozgar Sangam portal's mobile application on Sunday and presented appointment
letters to newly selected 'sevikas' during an International Women's Day event. The
'Pink Rozgar Mahakumbh 2026' program seeks to increase employment possibilities
and empower women throughout the state. Throughout the initiative, almost 5,000
women received employment offers from various partnering organisations. The
chief minister also unveiled the mobile application for the Rozgar Sangam site,
a platform that connects job seekers with job prospects. At the ceremony,
Adityanath handed out employment letters to 94 newly hired Mukhya Sevikas and
presented the Nari Shakti Awards to exceptional female employees and deserving
female students.
He also
distributed cheques to Kanya Sumangala Yojana recipients and witnessed a direct
benefit transfer (DBT) of Rs 3,849 lakh for insurance premiums, sarees, and
uniforms for anganwadi workers. The presentation was held to commemorate
International Women's Day and featured numerous state government programs aimed
at improving women's welfare, employment, and social security.
“In our
Indian culture, women are not only considered the center of the family, but
also the fundamental inspiration for creation, strength, and culture. On the
auspicious occasion of International Women's Day, my heartfelt greetings to all
the sisters and daughters of the state. Double engine government is committed
to empowerment of women power,” said Yogi Adityanath.
