Lucknow, 08

March (HS): Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, inaugurated the

Rozgar Sangam portal's mobile application on Sunday and presented appointment

letters to newly selected 'sevikas' during an International Women's Day event. The

'Pink Rozgar Mahakumbh 2026' program seeks to increase employment possibilities

and empower women throughout the state. Throughout the initiative, almost 5,000

women received employment offers from various partnering organisations. The

chief minister also unveiled the mobile application for the Rozgar Sangam site,

a platform that connects job seekers with job prospects. At the ceremony,

Adityanath handed out employment letters to 94 newly hired Mukhya Sevikas and

presented the Nari Shakti Awards to exceptional female employees and deserving

female students.

He also

distributed cheques to Kanya Sumangala Yojana recipients and witnessed a direct

benefit transfer (DBT) of Rs 3,849 lakh for insurance premiums, sarees, and

uniforms for anganwadi workers. The presentation was held to commemorate

International Women's Day and featured numerous state government programs aimed

at improving women's welfare, employment, and social security.

“In our

Indian culture, women are not only considered the center of the family, but

also the fundamental inspiration for creation, strength, and culture. On the

auspicious occasion of International Women's Day, my heartfelt greetings to all

the sisters and daughters of the state. Double engine government is committed

to empowerment of women power,” said Yogi Adityanath.

Key

highlights of the plan and accompanying job creation efforts:

Rozgar

Sangam App: Designed to make work possibilities more accessible to women.

Pink

Rozgar Mahakumbh 2026: A unique project aimed at increasing women's employment,

with over 5,000 women receiving job offers at the ceremony.

Women's

Empowerment: The Chief Minister delivered Kanya Sumangala Yojana checks and

supplied anganwadi staff with direct benefit transfers.

Previous

Initiatives: This follows the Rozgar Mahakumbh 2025 in August 2025,

which aimed on creating 50,000+ job possibilities, including overseas

placements.

The Rozgar

Sangam program seeks to bridge the gap between job seekers and industry

requirements, with a particular emphasis on empowering women in Uttar Pradesh.
