08 March (HS): Military Hospital Prayagraj organised a Health Awareness and

Medical Camp on the occasion of International Women’s Day at the Cobra

Auditorium. The initiative aimed at promoting preventive healthcare among women

and families, with special emphasis on awareness regarding lifestyle diseases

and the importance of regular medical screening.

The event

commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony by Dipika Dagar followed by an engaging

health awareness skit and lecture highlighting the growing impact of lifestyle

diseases such as hypertension, diabetes and obesity, and the importance of

adopting healthy lifestyles. The skit effectively conveyed the message of

preventive healthcare and encouraged attendees to prioritise their wellbeing.

A

comprehensive medical camp was conducted during the event, where various

specialised consultations and diagnostic services were made available to the

beneficiaries. The medical services provided included General Health Check-up,

Eye Examination, ENT consultation, Bone Density assessment, Gynaecology

consultation, Dermatology, Dental examination, Vaccination, Dietician

consultation and Laboratory investigations.
