Prayagraj, 08 March (HS): A

five-year-old youngster was reportedly kidnapped outside his home in a village,

authorities said on Sunday. According to reports, the event occurred on

Saturday in Sarai Kalan village, while the youngster had just come home from

school. Ajay Pal Sharma, Additional Commissioner of Police, attended the scene

with other officials and met with the child's relatives. Sharma said eight

police teams have been created and are seeking to find the youngster.

to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Yamuna Nagar) Vivek Chandra Yadav, Manda

police station got information on Saturday that the youngster, Prateek (5), had

been taken outside his residence by some unidentified men. According to Yadav,

the youngster had just returned home from school when several unidentified

people appeared in a van and whisked him away. Police teams are close to the

culprits, and the case is expected to be resolved shortly, he said.
