Lucknow/Noida,
27 March (HS): At the inauguration of the Noida International Airport in Jewar
on Saturday, filmmaker Boney Kapoor stated that the forthcoming international
film city project along the Yamuna Expressway will create major jobs. Kapoor, a
partner in Bayview Projects, the company in charge of creating the Noida
International Film City near the airport, expressed his pleasure to be present
at the ceremony. It feels good to be here. The film city will also open
shortly, perhaps before the elections. It will result in maximum
employment, he stated.
According
to the filmmaker, preparations for the project have already begun, and filming
is taking place on-site. Work on the remaining pieces has already begun. He
stated, I believe a lot will be ready before the elections, including
preparations for the film city, without stating which election. According
to Kapoor, the airport would provide a significant boost to the Uttar Pradesh
government's greenfield film city initiative, which is being overseen by Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath.
As the
airport becomes operational, an international film city will emerge shortly. He
stated that various companies are coming to the city, which would help the
entire country, in addition to the film industry. According to Kapoor, progress in Uttar
Pradesh translates into growth across India.
I believe
India has triumphed, he remarked in response to a question about whether the
airport's completion represented a success for farmers. The Bayview Projects
consortium, which is supported by Kapoor and the Bhutani Group, has been
awarded the contract to construct the international film city near Noida
International Airport, one of Uttar Pradesh's hallmark infrastructural
projects.
