March (HS): Yogi Adityanath has enthusiastically backed the union government's

proposal to reduce central excise rates as a pro-people measure. Uttar Pradesh

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for

reducing petrol and diesel excise duties.

In

a post on X, he mentioned, “Under the visionary leadership of Hon. PM Shri @narendramodi

Ji, the reduction in excise duty on

petrol and diesel is a timely, citizen-centric decision that will provide

relief amid the West Asia crisis, ensure domestic availability of essential

fuels, and reinforce economic stability. Thank you Pradhanmantri Ji for your decisive

leadership.”
