March (HS): Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez on Monday immersed her mother's

ashes in the Ganges River here, following all the rituals. Bollywood actress

Jacqueline Fernandez said that she is religious at heart, and that is why she

immersed her mother's ashes in the Ganges. Varanasi has a religious atmosphere,

and salvation is attained here. Peace is found on the banks of the Ganges. She added,

“With the grief came a quiet sense of peace”

Vikas Pandey performed the rites of immersion of actress Jacqueline Fernandez's

mother's ashes. The actress took a boat from the banks of the Ganges River and,

seated aboard, performed the ritual with Vedic chanting. After a brief stay on

the banks of the Ganges, Jacqueline departed for the Taj Hotel.
