March (HS): The state's Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Khadi

and Village Industries, Silk Industry, Handloom and Textiles, Rakesh Sachan,

held a detailed review meeting on the financial budget (year 2025-26) of

departmental schemes at Niryat Bhawan, Kaiserbagh, on Monday. The meeting

discussed the progress of various schemes, budget expenditure, and the status

of pending projects with senior department officials.

During the

meeting, the minister directed officials to ensure maximum budget utilization

across all schemes before the end of the financial year and to complete pending

projects in a timely manner. He stated that negligence or delays in any scheme

would not be tolerated, and targets must be achieved within the stipulated

timeframe. Officials informed that the process of spending the remaining portion

of the budget by March 31 is underway.

The

meeting also reviewed the progress of training and providing modern toolkits to

traditional artisans under the Vishwakarma Shramik Samman Yojana. Officials

stated that under this scheme, many traditional artisans, including carpenters,

blacksmiths, potters, tailors, and cobblers, are being trained and provided

with advanced toolkits. The Minister directed that the training and toolkit

distribution process be expedited to ensure that more artisans can benefit.

In

addition, the progress of the Chief Minister's Youth Self-Employment Scheme,

the Chief Minister's Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign, and the One District

One Product Scheme was also discussed in detail. Officials stated that under

the Chief Minister's Youth Self-Employment Scheme, a large number of youth have

been provided bank loans and margin money for self-employment. It was also

reported that thousands of entrepreneurs have been provided financial

assistance under the ODOP Financing Assistance Scheme, and efforts are being

made to improve product quality through training and toolkit programs.

Minister

Rakesh Sachan directed officials to expedite the progress of projects such as

industrial estates, cluster parks, and Unity Malls.

He stated

that the development of industrial areas will increase employment opportunities

in the state and provide new opportunities for local entrepreneurs. He stated

that the Yogi Adityanath-led state government is continuously making efforts to

promote micro, small, and medium enterprises in the state. The government's

goal is to provide maximum employment and self-employment opportunities to

youth by encouraging entrepreneurship. Minister Sachan directed the officials

to regularly monitor all the schemes and prepare a concrete action plan to

complete the pending projects within the next six months, so that the

industrial and economic development of the state can be accelerated.
