Gorakhpur, 17 Aug (HS): In a

landmark step towards transforming healthcare in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath ji today inaugurated Regency Health’s best in class,

250-bed multi-super specialty hospital in Gorakhpur. Regency Health is a

trusted healthcare institution of Uttar Pradesh for nearly three decades. This

tertiary care facility is set to bring world-class medical infrastructure and

expertise to Purvanchal, parts of Bihar, and even neighbouring Nepal. The

inaugural ceremony witnessed the presence of Ravi Kishan Shukla- MP, Gorakhpur;

Jagdambika Pal- MP, Domariyaganj; Mahendra Pal Singh- MLA, Pipraich; Manglesh

Kumar Srivastava- Mayor, Gorakhpur including other dignitaries from Gorakhpur

and adjoining constituencies, marking a proud moment for the entire region.

Equipped with 80 ICU beds and 8

modular operation theatres, this tertiary care facility offers comprehensive

care across all major specialties that includes region’s first dedicated

cardiac care unit with advanced Cath Lab, IVUS technology, and 24x7 bypass

surgeons that will make life-saving CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft)

surgeries accessible locally—ending the need to refer critical patients to

metros like Delhi or Lucknow. The hospital also features a comprehensive

oncology unit, housing the latest LINAC radiation machine, PET-CT, gamma

camera, chemotherapy, and surgical oncology facilities, enabling advanced
