Kathua, 17 August (H.S.): The people held a massive protest in Billawar and ransacked a private printing press and torched its material outside the shop against an obscene video allegedly recorded inside the printing press today.

As the video went viral the local residents held a massive protest against the Super Tech Offset Printing Press located in Phinter Chowk, Billawar of Kathua district.

In the video viral clip , a helper of the shop was reportedly seen engaged in an obscene act. The footage infuriated the residents who gathered outside the shop and staged massive protest. The agitated people threw printed material and other items on the road and set them ablaze. The protestors also manhandled the shop owner.

They demanded strict action from the administration and police against the shop owner, warning that the agitation would be intensified if immediate steps are not taken.

Police said that two people were arrested and case was registered against them.

SHO Billawar however said that the obscene video was made by a mentally disturbed person and police arrested him along with other person and has registered a case against them.
