17 Aug (HS): A 16-year-old girl was discovered slain with a sharp knife after
leaving her residence to attend Independence Day celebrations at her college,
authorities said on Sunday. A 26-year-old guy was arrested for questioning in
the case. On August 15, a class 10 kid left his house about 7.30 a.m. to
participate in flag hoisting at Janta Inter College. Her family began a hunt
for her after she did not come home till the evening. Locals discovered her dead on Saturday night
beneath a culvert outside Morvan village.
Her body bore the signs of sharp weapon injuries. Family members later
recognized the body. According to Raj Prakash Singh, Station House Officer
(SHO) of Ramkola Police Station, a guy has been arrested and is being
questioned based on charges made by his family.
