- Referred to Jorhat Medical College for Advanced Treatment

Kohima, 16 August (HS): A young man has been shot in Nagaland by unidentified shooter. According to the information received on Saturday the youth from Ranibasti in Nagaland, identified as Prakash Boro, who sustained serious bullet injuries, was shifted to Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH) after doctors at Shahid Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital, Golaghat, were unable to stabilize his condition.

Authorities confirmed that Boro was given emergency medical care at the civil hospital before being referred to JMCH for advanced treatment.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that heavily armed individuals were moving towards Jorhat Medical College with alleged intent to cause further violence, creating tension in the area.
