Bhubaneswar, 16 August (H.S.): Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan extended warm greetings to the nation on the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, describing it as a celebration not only of Lord Krishna’s birth but also of his timeless life and philosophy.

In a message shared on social media, Pradhan wrote, “Heartiest greetings to everyone on the holy festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. This day is a celebration of the birth of Lord Krishna as well as his extraordinary life and philosophy. The message of the ‘Gita’ continues to provide vitality to our lives, inspiring us to uphold courage and patience in every struggle. On this occasion, I pray to Yashodanandan Lord Shri Krishna for the welfare of all. Jai Shri Krishna!”

The minister further said that the teachings of Lord Krishna serve as a guiding force, emphasizing duty, righteousness, and perseverance, which remain relevant in modern times.
