Mithun Chakraborty in Serampore

Hooghly, 16 August (H.S.) Senior BJP leader and actor Mithun Chakraborty reached Serampore on Saturday to attend a party event. He fiercely attacked the Trinamool government over The Bengal Files trailer controversy, law and order of the state, corruption and recent issues.

On the sudden cancellation of the venue after getting permission for the trailer launch of the film 'The Bengal Files', Mithun Chakraborty said, Why would the BJP play the card of polarization? This film is based on the Noakhali massacre of 1946. Why were so many FIRs registered? Will people not know the history?

Aditya Mohanti was attacked for opposing the collection of donations in ward number 25 of Kamarhati. He was admitted to the hospital in critical condition. In this regard, Mithun said, There is no thing called law and order left in the state.

On the political storm that erupted in the district over the mysterious death of a nurse in a nursing home in Singur, Mithun said, There should be a CBI inquiry, because corruption and hooliganism are spread everywhere.

Commenting on the theft of Bula Choudhary's Padmashree award, the senior actor said, The one who has stolen this should be given another Padma Shri. If the thief has humanity, he should return the medal.

Mithun Chakraborty said that Sanatan has awakened, so the Trinamool government is afraid. The only solution to all problems is change. He also claimed that in the coming time, fake voters and Bangladeshi names will be removed from the voter list.
