Morigaon (Assam), 16 August (HS): A long-standing human trafficking hub has been uprooted from Daloigaon area of Maitrabari. According to reports, a man named Rabbul Islam had been running the trafficking network in the locality for a considerable time.
During a raid, Rabbul was allegedly caught engaging in immoral activities but managed to flee after being taken into custody.
Locals revealed that several women had been exploited through Rabbul’s network and the area had long been defiled by such illegal practices.
