other at historic Boat Club near Sangam -- paid honor to the country's
bravehearts while also commemorating India's scientific, geopolitical, and
social achievements. These events brought a visually appealing layer to our
patritic outreach among youth, which was well received by guests. The event
highlighted the Indian Air Force's dedication to national integration via
community engagement and cultural expression, creating optimisim on everyone
who attended. The musical performance not only encouraged patriotic feelings,
but it also provided a rare chance for the people to engage with the Armed
Forces,” said Wing Cdr Debartho Dhar, Regional PRO & Spokesperson, Ministry
of Defence, Prayagraj Region while replying to merdia queries on Saturday.
In
commemoration of 79th Independence Day, No 4 Air Force Band of
Central Air Command, Bamrauli presented a grand musical display at Amar Shaheed
Chandrashekhar Azad Park at Prayagraj. Known for their signature martial music
that blends melodically with soulful and timeless harmonies, the airwariors’
band captivated the audience and made it an evening to remember. The concert
was a landmark event for people of Prayagraj who expressed their love and
respect for the armed forces. The event was aimed at fostering national pride,
public engagement and rekindle the spirit of patriotism. The hallowed environs
of Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar park was filled to capacity with an enthusiastic
crowd cutting across the sections of society and boosted the patriotic fervor.
The
No 4 Band is based at Air Force Station Bamrauli and comprises of 20 musicians
specializing in brass, woodwind, reed string, electronic and percussion
instruments. This Band has had the proud privilege of performing in numerous
events of national importance including the Republic Day parade and Beating
Retreat ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The Independence Day musical extravaganza
was prepared and choreographed by Warrant Officer S Justus John. Officers and
personnel of HQ Central Air Command including the AOC-in-C Air Marshal B
Manikantan PVSM AVSM VM ADC graced the occasion.
Meanwhile
as part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations, HQ Purva Uttar Pradesh &
Madhya Pradesh Sub Area, assisted by Prayagraj Development Authority, organised
a grand Military Band Concert at the historic Boat Club near Sangam, Prayagraj.
The event featured enthralling performances by the Military Bands of Dogra
Regimental Centre and JAKRIF Regimental Centre, which mesmerised the audience
with patriotic tunes and melodious renditions. The concert created an
atmosphere filled with national pride and festive spirit.
A
large number of people from Prayagraj and neighbouring areas gathered in great
enthusiasm to witness the spectacular event. The overwhelming public
participation and applause reflected the deep patriotic fervour of the citizens
and their admiration for the Armed Forces. The celebration at the iconic Boat
Club near the holy Sangam added a special significance, making the occasion
memorable for all present.
