Jammu, 16 August (H.S.): Police has arrested a man after recovering heroin from his possession during a routine vehicle checking at Naka Point, Roundomail.

A police team from Police Post Roundomail, led by its Incharge, intercepted an Alto car (JK14K-4264) and recovered 5.75 grams of heroin-like substance from the driver, identified as Pawan Kumar, son of Dharam Chand, resident of Ossu Pakhlai, Udhampur.

In this connection, a case under FIR Number 299/2025, was registered under Sections 8, 21, and 22 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Udhampur and further investigation started.
