Mumbai, 16 Aug (HS): Air traffic operations at Mumbai’s
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport have been affected on Saturday
due to heavy rains. Many airlines issued advisories to the passengers. The Meteorological
Department has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rains at different regions
in Mumbai.
IndiGo Airlines has advised passengers to plan
their travel to the airport as road traffic in Mumbai is affected due to waterlogging in several areas. Passengers should also check the flight schedule before proceeding to the airport.
Akasa Airlines and SpiceJet have also issued advisories
to their passengers. Besides air traffic, road traffic between Mumbai and Goa
has been affected.
