Bhubaneswar, 15 August (H.S.)The Housing & Urban Development Department has baged the Second Prize for its innovative tableau on Urban Mobility and Last Mile Connectivity during the State-level Independence Day celebrations in Bhubaneswar.

Smt Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary and Dr. N. Thirumala Naik, Managing Director, Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) have received the Award from Sri Mohan charan Majhi,Hon'ble Chief Minister, Odisha , who presented the award during the State level Independence Day Celebration.

The tableau depicted the Department’s vision for sustainable, inclusive, and efficient urban transport—integrating modern public transit with green mobility and improved last-mile connectivity for citizens.
