Kokrajhar (Assam), 15 August (HS): The 79th Independence Day was celebrated on Friday at the office of the Fakiragram Block Committee under Kokrajhar district. The national flag was hoisted in the morning by the president of the Fakiragram Block Committee, Ravi Charan Daimari.

The event saw the presence of several leaders, including the Secretary (Administrative) of UPPIL’s Fakiragram Block Committee, Hazrat Ali Talukdar, and the General Secretary (Organizational) Kamal Barman.
