Mumbai, 15 Aug (HS): Maharashtra’s contribution to
the development of the nation is higher. The nation is making strides and is making the national under PM Narendra Modi’s leadership to soon become the fourth
largest economy in the world. The leap from the 11th economy to
the fourth speaks about the dedicated work of the ruling government under Modi’s
leadership. Maharashtra has also taken a lead in contributing to the
development of the nation, said Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis,
after hoisting the national flag in Mantralaya on Friday to mark Independence
Day. The world has realised the strength of Bharat and can imagine what the nation will be shortly, he said.
Fadnavis paid tributes to the armed forces personnel
who participated in the Operation Sindoor, at portraits of Jijau, Chhatrapati
Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, Savitribai Phule, Bharat Ratna and Dr
Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court Alok Aradhe,
Chief Secretary Rajesh Kumar, CM Fadnavis’s wife Amruta Fadnavis, Medical
Education Minister Hasan Mushrif, Lok Seva Ayog Chief Rajnish Seth, Election
Commission Chief Dinesh Waghmare, DGP Rashmi Shukla, and other senior officers
were present.
