Lucknow, 15 Aug

(HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hoisted the flag at his official

residence, 5 Kalidas Marg. In his address on this occasion, he extended his

heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on Independence

Day. The independence of the country is the result of the struggle of the

Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi and those great revolutionaries and

freedom fighters of the country who united the entire country from North to

South and East to West with this struggle and freed us from the slavery of

hundreds of years. On this occasion, while saluting the Father of the Nation,

Mahatma Gandhi, I pay my humble tribute to all those great freedom fighters and

revolutionaries. Those great revolutionaries did not hesitate to sacrifice

their all for freedom. Today, when we are joining the 79th

Independence Day celebrations of the country, this occasion reminds us all that

independence or freedom is not a liberty. This celebration gives us all a

resolution to realize our national duties.

If the resolve to discharge

one's responsibilities towards national duties resonates in the mind of every

citizen with one voice and one feeling, then the resolution of the Prime

Minister of the country on the centenary year of independence, for a developed

India, will be visible to all of us in its true form. On one hand, while this

country is currently completing 78 years of its independence, the Constitution

created by the great son of Mother India and the architect of the Constitution

of India, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, has entered its Amrit Kaal. The

Constitution of India has played an important role in promoting the concept of

social justice and brotherhood within the country by binding the entire country

in the thread of unity in both good and bad circumstances. Today's occasion is

also an opportunity for us to pay humble tribute to all those known and unknown

soldiers who protected the borders of the country after the independence of the

country and created a better situation of internal security within the country.

Chief Minister

Yogi Adityanath said that recently we all have seen the strength and power of

the valour and courage of India's armed forces. When during Operation Sindoor,

the soldiers made the world realize the power of India through the successful

implementation of this entire operation. Every Indian realizes this. Apart from

this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also counted other achievements of the

government, from the role of enriching the MSME sector through Uttar Pradesh's

One District One Product Scheme. He appealed to the people of the state to

perform their duties and come forward to work for the country.
