Kolkata, 15 August (H.S.): 35 students fell ill during the Red Road Parade in Kolkata on Independence Day. They were taken to SSKM Hospital. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee herself went to the hospital to see the sick students. She talked to the doctors.

Like every year, this year too a parade was organized on Red Road. Students from various schools were present to see the Chief Minister's Guard of Honor ceremony. During the ceremony, 35 students suddenly fell ill. They were taken to SSKM Hospital. The Chief Minister also went to the hospital to see them. Doctors suspect that the students fell ill due to the scorching sun. According to sources, their condition is stable.
