Guwahati (Assam), 14 August (HS): Marking the 79th Independence Day, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Bharalumukh Mandal on Thursday organised a cleanliness drive at Shaheed Park near Tarun Ram Phukan Park in Bharalumukh, Guwahati, in memory of freedom fighters.

Following the drive, floral tributes were offered at the martyr’s statue. The programme was led by Deban Dhruv Jyoti Moral, Vice President of the Assam Food and Civil Supplies Corporation, with other Mandal officials and a large number of BJP supporters participating in the event.
