Varanasi,

24 July (HS): Fisheries Minister and Nishad Party President Dr Sanjay Nishad

said on Thursday before leaving for Lucknow from Varanasi that in the month of

Sawan, a large number of Kanwar pilgrims are reaching Varanasi to offer water

to Shri Kashi Vishwanath Baba. Like Varanasi, a group of Kanwar pilgrims are reaching

Shiva temples all over the state. Our Uttar Pradesh government is committed to

providing security to all Kanwariyas. So far, no Kanwar pilgrim has felt any

insecurity in Uttar Pradesh.

Dr.

Sanjay Nishad said that some people raise fingers on faith, faith is not going

to diminish because of two-four such lunatics. Such people keep quiet on people

like Changur, who have been converting people. He further said that he is

keeping a close eye on the upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh. Along with

this, his party will also show its activism in the interest of Nishads in the

elections to be held in Bihar. A big meeting is going to be held in Lucknow.
