Bijnor,
24 July (HS): Arif, a married Muslim youth who repairs gas stoves at Shankar
Murti crossing in the city, was found to be involved in a serious conspiracy to
lure a Hindu girl and take her to Dubai. As soon as the girl's brother came to
know about this shameful conspiracy, he informed the responsible people of the
society. The local people showed promptness and caught the accused Arif
red-handed and handed him over to the police.
When
the accused's mobile was searched during the police investigation, more than
750 photographs of women and girls were recovered - many of which were taken
secretly, such as of women walking on the road. This number of photographs has
created a sensation in the entire area. The police is now trying to find out
what these photographs were going to be used for, whether this was a planned
love jihad, pornographic material production, or human trafficking racket?
This
case is exactly like the recent cases of Changur Baba, who exploited women and
committed mental abuse under the guise of religion. Hypocrites like Changur Baba have already become a stigma for the society, and now people like Arif are
seen walking on the same path.
Such
activities are increasing rapidly in the country, and this is a danger signal
for society, culture and law and order. Local citizens have demanded from the
administration and the government that strict action should be taken in this
case and such elements should be put behind bars so that no other sister or
daughter becomes a victim of such conspiracy. Dhana in-charge Chandpur said, “a
case has been registered and the rest of the investigation is going on.” He
refused to divulge anymore details. .
