01 July (HS): The first day of the new academic session (July 1) became a
lifelong memory for Pankhuri Tripathi, a class 7 student living in Purdilpur of
Kotwali area. This girl was on the verge of having to leave her studies due to
inability to pay the fees, but as soon as she met Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath in Janata Darshan on Tuesday, the financial hurdle in her studies
was removed. The Chief Minister assured Pankhuri that her studies will not
stop. He will either get the fees waived or will arrange for the fees himself.
Not only this, Chief Minister Yogi also fulfilled her wish to get a photo
clicked with him. Pankhuri, overwhelmed by the kindness of the Chief Minister,
said - There is no one like Maharaj Ji.
During
his stay in Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was meeting people in the
auditorium of Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan of Gorakhnath temple on Tuesday
morning and listening to their problems. He was directing officers to resolve
the problems. Pankhuri Tripathi, a class 7 student from Purdilpur in Kotwali
area, was also sitting in the queue of people who were meeting him. When the
Chief Minister reached Pankhuri, Pankhuri gave him an application and said,
Maharaj Ji, I want to study, please waive my fees or arrange for my
fees. The Chief Minister stopped and talked to her in a friendly manner
and got to know all of Pankhuri's problems. Pankhuri told that she studies in
an English medium school. The family has become financially very weak due to
her father Rajiv Tripathi becoming disabled. Mother Meenakshi is working at a
shop. Apart from her, there is also a brother studying in class 12. Pankhuri
told that due to not being able to pay the fees, today instead of going to
school, she has come to the Chief Minister with a request for help.
After
listening to Pankhuri, the Chief Minister said, Don't worry at all. I
will not let your studies get interrupted. I will arrange for the fee waiver.
And, in case it is not waived, I will arrange for the fee myself.
Regarding this, he instructed the officials present on the spot that Pankhuri's
studies should not be interrupted due to lack of fees. As soon as she got the
assurance from the Chief Minister, a delighted Pankhuri requested to take a
photo with him. The Chief Minister also fulfilled this wish of hers.
Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday listened to the problems of about 100
people during Janta Darshan at Gorakhnath temple and said that do not worry,
everyone's problems will be solved. Instructing the officials to resolve the
related matters, the Chief Minister said that redressing every pain of the public
is the top priority of the government. Public problems should be resolved
quickly. There should not be any kind of laxity in this. He directed to get the
estimate from the hospital and make it available to the government for
providing the benefits of housing and other welfare schemes to the needy and
financial help in treatment.
