Kokrajhar (Assam), 1 July (HS): Beef was seized from four hotels on Kokrajhar's Masjid Road. Beef business was going on in all the four hotels for a long time. On Tuesday, Kokrajhar police raided these hotels on the basis of secret information and seized beef. The hotel owners were taken into custody and brought to the police station for police interrogation.
The Muslim hotel owners have been identified as Rezzakul Islam alias Bachchu, Aamir Hussain, Mafiz Ali and Majnur Rahman.
