New Delhi, June 12(HS): President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar expressed deep sorrow on Thursday over the plane crash that occurred in Ahmedabad. They stated that the entire nation stands with those affected during this time of grief.

The President said in a post on X, “I am deeply saddened to learn about the plane crash in Ahmedabad. It is a heart-wrenching disaster. My condolences and prayers are with those affected. The entire nation stands with them in this unimaginable time of grief.”

The Vice President stated in a post on X, “The unfortunate incident in Ahmedabad has confronted us with a devastating human tragedy. My condolences and prayers are with all those impacted by this event. The entire nation stands united with them in this time of sorrow.”

According to DGCA, there were 232 passengers and 10 crew members on board the plane. Relief and rescue operations are ongoing, and assistance is being provided to those affected.
