New Delhi, June 12 (H.S.): On Thursday, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal confirmed that India is actively engaging with China to maintain stability in the supply of rare earth elements. Following China's recent export controls announced in early April, India has conducted discussions with Chinese officials both in Beijing and Delhi.

Jaiswal emphasized the need for predictability in the supply chain and adherence to international standards, highlighting the crucial role of rare earth elements in technology, defense, and renewable energy sectors. India aims to reassure its business community that essential supplies will remain steady while navigating this diplomatic landscape to safeguard its industrial interests.
