Mainpuri, 12 June (HS): An 11-year-old girl was reportedly raped by a school

bus driver who videotaped the incident and posted it online, authorities said

on Thursday. Anil Kumar Singh, the station house officer (SHO) of the police

station, named the offender as Arjun (52). “On June 8, he brought the girl to a

remote location and raped her. Arjun also filmed the assault and shared the

video online on Wednesday. Singh

stated. The girl's parents discovered the attack after seeing the widely shared

video. The victim, a Class VI student

from another school, resided in the same area as the accused. Following the

release of the video, the girl's mother filed a First Information Report (FIR)

with Bewar Police Station late Wednesday evening. According to the SHO, police

searches have been performed at numerous sites in an attempt to catch Arjun,

but he is still at large. Singh also stated that he will be caught and

imprisoned shortly.
