Cachar (Assam), 10 June (HS): Cachar Police has arrested two drug peddlers with a huge quantity of Yava tablets. This information has been given by the Chief Minister of the state Dr. Hemant Biswa Sarma. According to the information given by the Chief Minister on social media X, Cachar Police has achieved great success in two successful anti-drug operations.
He has told that on the basis of reliable intelligence, the police have seized 1.5 lakh Yaba tablets worth ₹45 crore in two back-to-back operations. 4 people have been arrested in this case.
The peddlers were cleverly bringing the seized Yaba tablets hidden inside the LPG cylinder. Police is investigating the matter by registering an FIR under the NDPS Act in this regard. -------
