Lucknow,
25 Feb (HS): At the State Level Multistock Holder Workshop in Lucknow, Minister
of State (Independent Charge) for Social Welfare, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled
Tribe Welfare, Asim Arun said that strong coordination is necessary to deal
with human trafficking. Today in the internet age, human trafficking can be
curbed through better coordination and strong networking of law enforcement
agencies, NGOs and aware citizens.
In
a workshop organized by the human service institute 'Sewa', Minister Aseem Arun
emphasized that the time has come to strengthen the system of human trafficking
and child rights. We should be aware of the activities happening around us. If
we see any suspicious activity, we should immediately inform the police or the
government system. I believe that the training program organized by the
institute will prove to be very beneficial in capacity building.
