Chennai, 23 February (H.S.) : A devastating collision between a Karnataka government bus and a lorry in Vadalur,a town in Cuddalore district, Tamilnadu has left 20 devotees severely injured.

According to reports, the bus was en route from Bengaluru to Thirunallar Saneeswaran Temple when it was hit by a lorry coming from Salem. The lorry's driver lost control, striking the bus and coming to a stop on the center median.

The injured devotees have been admitted to a nearby hospital and are receiving treatment. Police arrived at the scene promptly and are currently investigating the accident.

The incident has raised concerns about road safety and the need for stricter regulations to prevent such accidents. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the collision.
