22 Dec (HS): The inaugural ceremony of the 65th provincial convention of the

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Kanpur Province, was held in Veer Abhai

Nagar, Orai. Retired Justice Ranganath Pandey was the chief guest, Kuldeep Pati

Tripathi, Additional Advocate General of the Uttar Pradesh Government, was the

special guest, and ABVP National Minister Abhay Pratap Singh was the keynote

speaker, along with Dr. Anil Yadav, Chairman of the Reception Committee, Arvind

Singh Chauhan, ABVP State President Dr. Brijesh Mishra, and State Minister

Dinesh Yadav were present.

Prior

to the inaugural ceremony, a new executive committee of the Kanpur Province was

formed for the 2025–26 session. As part of the organizational process, Dr.

Brijesh Mishra was re-elected as Kanpur Province President and Dinesh Yadav was

re-elected as Province Minister. On this occasion, senior council officials

congratulated the newly elected incumbents and expressed hope that under their

leadership, ABVP would more strongly advance the goals of student interests,

nationalist education, and organizational expansion.

Chief

guest retired Justice Ranganath Pandey said in his address that Vidyarthi

Parishad is that student organisation which develops the qualities of

patriotism and nationalism within the common student and transforms it into the

strength of the nation and prepares the basis for nation building by

inculcating values ​​like leadership, character, discipline and patriotism in

the youth. It is the only student organisation in the world which not only

fights for the student interests but also revives the confluence of struggle,

sensitivity and culture for their all-round development. If there is any

student organisation which gives new breath, new faith and new hope to many

lives by running a massive and continuous campaign of blood donation, then it

is only and only Vidyarthi Parishad.

Special

guest Kuldeep Tripathi, Additional Advocate General of the Uttar Pradesh

government, said that the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad is not just a student

organization, but a powerful movement rooted in the ideology of

nation-building. ABVP has always focused on student interests, educational

values, and national consciousness.

Today's

students are tomorrow's leaders, and ABVP cultivates such leadership, which,

along with education, is imbued with social responsibility and a sense of

dedication to the nation. This 65th provincial convention of Kanpur Province is

a living example of the organization's continued activism, discipline, and

ideological commitment. He said that ABVP's efforts to establish quality

education, equal opportunity, and moral values ​​are commendable. The

organization has always worked to give a positive direction to the student

community while protecting democratic values.

Chief

speaker, ABVP National Minister Abhay Pratap Singh, said that the journey of

the Vidyarthi Parishad is not just a journey of years, but a journey of

sacrifice, struggle, and dedication to the nation. From its inception to today,

ABVP has consistently fought to protect student interests, fight for

educational rights, and bring about positive change in education. He said that

whenever the rights of the student community have been attacked, ABVP has

fearlessly raised its voice for student interests from the streets to the

House. Whether it is the issue of fee hikes, educational irregularities, the

demand for employment-oriented education or the issue of student safety, ABVP

has stood at the forefront on every front.
