Nashik, 22 Dec (HS): Bharatiya Janata Party is at number one in Maharashtra,
which has been proved by the results of Nagar Parishad and Nagar Palika
election results, said Maharashtra Minister Girish Mahajan. He expressed
confidence that the people will vote in BJP’s favour during the ensuing Municipal
Corporation elections. He expressed satisfaction over results in North
Maharashtra.
Referring
to seats sharing for the municipal corporation elections, Mahajan said the
discussion with other parties of the Mahayuti (Mega Alliance) is in progress.
The final announcement about the discussion with Dada Bhuse and Sameer Bhujbal will
be settled in the next two days.
Mahajan
said that the RPI (A) is with the Mega Alliance. He claimed that majority of
the seats will be won by BJP candidates.
The
voters have rejected NCP (Sahard Pawar) group and UBT Sena as the leaders never
moved with the workers in their constituencies. Their condition will more
pitiable in the coming municipal corporation polls.
Maharashtra
Navnirman Sena’s alliance with UBT Sena will not have much impact on the coming
elections. They have lost faith of Marathi people in Maharashtra, Mahajan
added.
